Is there one app to clip, edit, post and track your videos?
Updated
In short: a few, and they cover the four jobs to different depths. Most creators still use a stack: an AI clipper for long videos, an editor, a scheduler and each platform's own analytics. Of the products we checked, OpusClip comes closest to one app (a scheduler on Pro, clip analytics on Business), Metricool covers posting and analytics but makes no clips, and RipClip does all four in one app, with its posting switching on as each platform approves it. Facts below are from each product's own pages.
The four jobs, product by product
"Clip" means finding the moments in a long video and cutting short vertical clips. "Track" means the numbers on the posts the app published come back into the app. A dash means the product's page doesn't say it does it, which isn't proof it can't.

What "all in one" should mean
- It starts from the long video. You give it the stream, podcast or recording, not a clip you already cut somewhere else.
- The editor is a real one. Trimming and caption styles are a start; a timeline, keyframes and audio controls let you fix what the AI got wrong without exporting to another app.
- Posting follows each platform's rules. TikTok's post screen choices, a YouTube title, an Instagram caption: per platform, from one calendar.
- The numbers come back. Views on the posts it published, in the same place you made them, so the next clips learn from the last ones.
- One price covers it. Check how each job is billed: per clip, per minute of video, per channel or per brand.
When separate tools are the better choice
- You only schedule. If your videos are already edited, a scheduler such as Buffer or Metricool costs less and covers more networks, including LinkedIn and Pinterest, which RipClip doesn't post to.
- Your sources are YouTube links. OpusClip, Klap and Vizard list YouTube links as a source; RipClip takes uploads and Kick, Twitch and cloud links but not YouTube links.
- You edit on a phone. CapCut has phone and desktop apps; RipClip runs in the browser on any device but has no phone app yet.
- You need a big team. OpusClip Business lists unlimited seats; RipClip's Studio plan stops at 3.
- You need deep social analytics (competitors, inbox, every post you ever made): a social media suite does more than any clipper's post stats.
Where RipClip stands
RipClip was built to do the four jobs in one app: paste a Kick or Twitch VOD (or upload any video), get vertical clips framed on the speaker and captioned word by word, finish them in the editor, schedule them, and see each post's views come back with your own best times to post. Pricing is by the length of video it reads, in Horizon Units, so clip exports and edits are unlimited: Free gives 110 HU every month (enough for a 4-hour stream), Creator is $29.99 a month. What it doesn't do yet: clip while you're live, take YouTube links, post to LinkedIn or Pinterest, or run as a phone app.
RipClip is not affiliated with OpusClip, Klap, Vizard, CapCut, Metricool or Buffer. Product names belong to their owners. Every fact about them is from their own pages, linked below, on the date given; plans change, so check before you buy.
