Why RipClip
The stream clipper that does the whole job
In short: paste a Kick or Twitch VOD link and RipClip finds the moments worth posting, cuts captioned vertical clips, lets you finish them in a real editor, schedules them and shows you which ones take off. It works on every plan, the free one included, with streams up to 4 hours free and 12 hours on Studio, and you pay for stream hours, not clips.
Start from the link, not a download
Kick and Twitch VOD and clip links work on every plan, and even before you sign up. You don't download a 4-hour file and upload it again. Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive links and uploads work too.
Try a whole stream for free
The free plan's 110 Horizon Units cover one 4-hour stream, start to finish, exported in 1080p with a small watermark. Without an account you can clip and edit one video of up to 30 minutes, so you see the clips before you give an email.
Pay for stream hours, not clips
A good stream can give you dozens of clips. RipClip measures the video it reads, not the clips it makes: clip exports and edits are unlimited, every minute costs less the longer the stream, and a 2-hour stream is 66 HU. Plans go from free to $29.99, $59.99 and $129.99 a month.
A real editor in the same tab
Every clip opens in an editor with an 8-track timeline, keyframes, speed ramps, 44 effects, 21 transitions, colour grading, masks, music that ducks under voices and voiceover. The preview is drawn with the same maths as the export, so what you see is what posts. Undo survives a reload. Some of these (keyframes, speed ramps, masks, LUTs) are Premium: anyone can edit with them, and exporting them takes a paid plan.
Clip, edit, schedule and track in one app
One calendar posts to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and X, and the numbers on each post come back to the same app, so you see which clips take off. Posting switches on platform by platform as each one approves RipClip; until then, download your clips and post them yourself.
Long streams are welcome
Streams up to 4 hours on Free and Creator, 8 hours on Pro and 12 hours on Studio, with 4K on Pro and Studio.
What RipClip doesn't do (yet)
- It doesn't clip while you're live: it works from the VOD after the stream.
- It doesn't take YouTube links: upload the file instead.
- It doesn't record your gameplay or your screen.
- There's no phone app or public API yet; it runs in the browser on any device.
- Team workspaces stop at 3 seats (Studio).
