Where can RipClip post today?
Updated
In short: RipClip's posting calendar and post stats are built for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X and Bluesky, and each one switches on when that platform approves RipClip. On 18 October 2026 none is switched on for everyone yet: the reviews are in progress, X is coming soon and Bluesky is in testing. Until a network is on, you download your clips from RipClip and post them yourself, on every plan.
Network by network
| Network | What RipClip does there | Status on 18 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok | Posts a video with TikTok's own post-screen choices (who can see it, comments, duet, stitch, disclosure), or sends it to your TikTok app to finish there and add a sound. Reads views, likes, comments and shares. | Waiting for TikTok's app review. Until an app passes it, TikTok lets it post only as private ("only me") videos (TikTok developers, read 18 October 2026). |
| YouTube Shorts | Uploads with a title, description and visibility. Reads views, likes and comments. | Waiting for Google's verification. Until then only invited test accounts can connect. |
| Instagram Reels | Posts a Reel with its caption. Reads views, likes, comments, shares, saves and reach. Needs a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. | Waiting for Meta's business verification and app review. Until then only test accounts can connect. |
| Posts a video to a Page. Reads views, likes and comments. | Same Meta review as Instagram. | |
| Threads | Posts a video with its text. | Same Meta review as Instagram. |
| X | Built: posting and public post counts. | Coming soon. Posting video through X's API needs a paid X plan, which RipClip hasn't switched on. |
| Bluesky | Posts a video with alt text and who can reply. Reads likes, replies, reposts and quotes (Bluesky has no view count). | Built and in testing; switched off for now. Bluesky needs no app review: you connect with an app password. |
What works today, on every plan
- Clipping and editing. Paste a Kick or Twitch link or upload a video, get the clips, finish them in the editor.
- Downloading. Export each clip (1080p on Free and Creator, up to 4K at 60 fps on Pro and Studio) and post it from the platform's own app.
- Planning. The calendar holds drafts with a caption per platform, so a week of posts is ready when a network switches on.
How posting works once a network is on
- Connect the account. You sign in on the platform's own page; RipClip never sees your password, and you can disconnect at any time.
- Pick the clip and the time. One calendar, a caption and title per platform, and that platform's own required choices on the post screen.
- RipClip posts at that time. Nothing is posted unless you schedule it or press Post now. If a platform refuses a post, RipClip shows the platform's reason on that post.
- The numbers come back. The counts the platform sends appear on each post, with checkpoints at 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days, and your own best times to post once 5 posts have a day of views.
Why the stats differ by network
RipClip shows only the counts each platform sends for posts RipClip published, and leaves a count empty when a platform doesn't send it rather than showing 0. Each platform also defines a view its own way; see tracking views across TikTok, Shorts and Reels. For every number on posts you made outside RipClip, use the platform's own analytics, such as TikTok Studio.
