RipClip vs Premiere Rush

In short: Adobe has discontinued Premiere Rush: it can no longer be downloaded (since 30 September 2025) and Adobe's support ends on 30 September 2026. Adobe's own replacement is Premiere on mobile, a free phone editor with auto captions and 4K export. If you used Rush to cut clips for TikTok, Shorts and Reels from your streams, RipClip does that from a Kick or Twitch VOD link in the browser, and schedules the clips too.

Questions.

Is Adobe Premiere Rush discontinued?

Yes. Adobe's help pages say Rush stopped being downloadable on 30 September 2025 and technical support ends on 30 September 2026. Adobe names Premiere on mobile and Premiere on desktop as the replacements.

What is a good Premiere Rush alternative for streamers?

If you mostly cut stream clips for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, a clipper that reads the VOD saves the hand editing. RipClip takes Kick and Twitch VOD links, cuts captioned vertical clips and schedules them; its free plan covers a 4-hour stream.
